We are using this in en_IN locale
see ..currency_symbol       "<U20A8>"..

In other locale we are using locale specific currency symbols or its
pronunciation initials
i.e for mr_IN and hi_IN it is रु.

One can see this in Open Office Calc by selecting Column property as
Number -> Currency and its locale correspondingly.
