Hi, Indian languages have been lagging in KDE for sometime, except for Punjabi other languages have not had any langpacks since 4.7, with some effort these could be brought to supported level for KDE essentials. Details below on language status. Most have desktop_kdelibs.po and desktop_l10n.po are required level, while kde-runtime, and kdelibs4.po need some work. For next release 4.9, last date to commit is 24th July 2012.
