1. mau copy dvd jadi iso? $> dd if=/dev/dvd of=mandriva_dvd.iso 2. dari tampilan non grafis (coba aja ctrl + alt + f1) tulis startx. baru keliatan kenapa xnya nggak jalan, karena bakal keliatan errornya apaan. Most probably graphic drivernya nggak bener. Cara benerinnya, switch aja dulu ke driver vesa atau vga, terus dirisetin lagi driver mandriva untuk graphic card anda.
