sama Oracle10g Standard Edition One itu dimana? Perusahaan tempat saya
bekerja ingin migrasi dari SQL Server ke Oracle, saat ini aplikasi
kita berbasis VB6 dan ASP .NET, yang ingin saya tanyakan juga adalah
bisa ngak aplikasi saya ini connect ke database Oracle yang dijalankan
diatas Linux (Kami merencanakan memakai RedHat Linux Enterprise
Server). Setahu saya Oracle10g di Windows itu menyediakan ODP.NET
bagaimana dengan Oracle yang berjalan di Linux/Unix Khususnya yang
versi Standard Edition/Standard Edition one?

Oracle bisa dijalankan di linux dengan baik walaupun aplikasi anda berjalan
under windows berbasis ASP/VB , ASP.net / VB.net , untuk ODP .net nanti anda
bisa install Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio.net , ODP.net itu ada
didalam situ kok.
