Dear pak Dharma, sebaiknya jangan dicampur adukan metode restore nya: a. jika oracle sama versi(9i - 9i, 10g - 10g, 11g -11g), complete DBF, CTL, dll bisa digunakan b. jika oracle beda versi(9i - 10g), gunakan metode dump file DMP saja.

ORA-00704: bootstrap process failure ORA-39700: database must be opened with UPGRADE option So, masalahnya kemudian, dibilang kalau database harus jalan dengan UPGRADE option. Muncul pesan : SQL> startup upgrade ORACLE instance started. ORA-01113: file 1 needs media recovery ORA-01110: data file 1: '/data003/oradata/ellgpp2/dbs/data101/system_ellprd.dbf' Pesan diatas muncul karena recovery belum dilakukan. Tapi pada saat saya coba recovery log, akan muncul pesan bahwa startup harus ugrade option... Adapun database yang direstore dari 9i ke 10G... Apakah memang tidak bisa restore database dengan copy datafile ke beda versi oracle..?? atau mungkin ada yang salah dengan cara yang saya lakukan... Mohon dengan sangat masukkannya...
