Kalau seingat gue, ending nya kan si astronaut itu berhasil memusnahkan HAL 9000 (system AI yang ngawur itu) dan alhasil dia harus bisa meneruskan misinya tanpa system AI computer. Seingat gue misinya adalah menemukan ras alien yang membangun monolith di bumi dan di bulan. Kan nasib pesawat dan astronaut itu masih masih disebut2 di sequelnya 2010. kalau gak salah ketemu nya di jupiter deh... anyway don't take it from me, it's been a long time gue udah lupa.
