Uhmmm... jangan salah, 
di holodeck justru non-solid semua...
saat benda mau dipegang atau kontak dengan orang
baru jadi solid.

illusion of being solid.

Matter conversion subsystem creates physical props using replicators. 
Replicated props
are generally created when an object is likely to be touched by the participant.

  hmmm........ yakin nih default nya not-solid ? 
  soalnya kalo di holodeck kan solid semua, bisa ditonjok,
  bisa ditusuk, disentuh, diajak dansa, bahkan bisa 
  diajak "ehem" oleh Tuvok (siklus 7 tahun-an).

  kalau ngeliat/ngerasa ada keperluan, maka bisa aja dia men-"solid"- kan diri.

  secara default, hologramnya non-solid. tapi kalau misalnya dia mau merawat 
pasien, maka dia bisa

  menjadikan permukaan yang akan bersentuhan dg pasiennya utk jadi "solid".
