SG-1 VS SGA... sangat berbeda: 1. SG command di SG-1 dipimpin oleh military sedangkan di Atlantis oleh civilian. 2. SGA adalah spin off dari SG-1, so, dari segi penulisan format cerita, karakter dll dsb maka SG-1 adalah pendahulu SGA. Maka ada episode2 dalam SGA yang me-refer kepada SG-1. 3. SG-1 focus nya dalam galaxy milky way,maka semua intrik politik, setting, background cerita, komedi, dll berbasis di real life di bumi. SGA ada di Pegasus galaxy, everything is new and strange, and more 'unrealistic', yet somehow connected to SG-1 indirectly. 4. SG-1 is focusing on defense and counter-attack. SGA is focusing on exploring new tech to support SG-1's defense and counter-attack. Walaupun SGA juga sebagai the first line of defense against enemies dari Pegasus yang akan ke Milky Way. 5. SGA stands alone in Pegasus as the most advanced race among young primitive races. SG-1 has to face races with far more advanced technology. 6. SG-1 has more ships and weapons in comparison to SGA = more action. 7. SGA has more emotion-drained stories and scientific babbles than SG-1. 8. So far, SGA has only one mortal enemy. SG-1 has beaten more than one enemies, and now facing annihilation. 9. When you're in SG-1, if you're doomed, you are doomed: facing annihilation. In SGA... you can always dive... or fly... So, it's kinda hard to pick just one, right? However, if I may suggest, if you want to start watching SGA, you must familiarize yourself with SG-1 season 7. It's where the spin-off started.
