The reason why we always see the same side of the moon is not because it's not rotating, but because of the speed of its rotation and revolution is the same. It's also what happen to the exoplanet. So is the planet in the Chronicles of Riddick. Of course it's rotating. My point is, if the speed of the revolution is 12 days, then the planet is too close to the sun. It will be too hot to support human's life form, unless, like in Riddick's movie, humans live underground. How can any life form adapt from being burned to ashes???
