Kl gw perhatiin Cmdr Worf memang XO nya Defiant, paling gak sejak Worf
ditetapkan sbg Strategic Officer di DS9 krn sblmnya memang Kira Nerys adalah XO
USS Defiant (lih Eps.terakhir season 3 kalo gak salah saat Capt Sisko akan
meng-initiate self destruct sequence maka komputer memerlukan 2 otorisasi
perwira senior Sisko dan Kira) kemudian saat Sisko terluka setelah diserang
oleh Jem Hadar di Gamma Quadrant (saat sdg negosiasi dagang dengan the Karemma)
bukan Kira yg mengambil alih situasi namun Worf yg menjadi acting Captain
sementara Kira hanya menemani Sisko yg terluka di Anjungan Defiant.

Kira memang 1st officer Sisko di DS9, Worf cuman
tinggal di Defiant full time (pada awal episode
soalnya mereka ngak ada quarter yg tersisa). Cuman di
itu di DS9 juga (Strategic Operation Officer).
Hanya saja kalau kita lihat di ST, sering senior
officer disuruh menjadi Captain di kapal tertentu
dalam misi tertentu, jadi bukan dapat 'commission'
atau penugasan di kapal tsb.
Jadi waktu Worf mengomandoin Defiant di First Contact
itu bukan berarti dia jadi Captain Defiant.
