Di salah satu episode ada ttg hal ini. Kalau tidak salah, itu tergantung ibunya. jadinya melahirkan dengan transporter memang sudah sangat bisa. Kalau tidak salah ingat, kalau ibunya mau dan terutama jika dideteksi ada kelainan, maka transporter bisa menyembuhkannya. Tapi seingat saya, episode ini membahas dimana teknis transport justru tidak bisa dipakai. Kalau digunakan malah bisa fatal. Cuma lupa episodenya apa ... TNG kalau tidak salah
