Unfortunately, in his future, there is no such green machine. Human civilization still uses un-earth-friendly power and machinery until they destroyed themselves. Human never learn and never change.
Greed is above all. We simply don't care about anything else but money and power. The Time Traveler used the time machine which the only machine they could build underground in the future that really made sense. One way ticket to the past for one person and to serve one purpose only; To convey the message to his ancestors. One man that represents future humankind. Crippled by our own undoing. He and the rest of human are dying. Our descendants have evolved to be un-human because of us. He, the time traveler was our child. We are in the brink of destruction.
