Saya belum pernah ke Budapest dan Vienna. He he he maklum jajahan saya bukan
disitu jadi ya ngg nongol di blog saya. Berikut saya copy paste dari
Kedutaan Besar Hongaria di Jakarta tentang urusan visa (

Hungary akan dipertimbangkan (dijamin sukses) jika sudah mempunyai visa
achengen. Setahu saya Hungary akan bergabung dengan EU tahun 2007 ini tapi
kok belum ada penjelasan detail tentang gabungnya dengan negara schengen.

Untuk tarip visa short stay Euro35, short stay double Euro35, transit single
Euro35. Kalau Cuma sebentar kayaknya enakan make transit saja.

VISA APPLICATION
Nationals of the Republic of Indonesia, those of the Republic of the
Philippines and the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste need to obtain a visa
before traveling to Hungary. Application forms are available from the
Hungarian Embassy in Jakarta and the Consulates in Surabaya, Bandung, Bali
and Manila. The application form must be completed properly and signed by
the applicant. Children under the age of 14 traveling on a parent¹s passport
will not be charged and need not complete a separate application. The form
should be lodged at the Hungarian Embassy in Jakarta by the applicant in
person.
 
 
INTERVIEW
As a rule an interview with the visa officer is taking place prior to taking
over the applications. The aim of the interview is to help specify the
purpose of your visit to Hungary and complete the application form properly.
 
 
ASSESSMENT
Following an assessment of the applications a decision will be made on
whether or not to grant a visa and for what period of time. A visa granted
will be in the form of a label, placed in your passport. The type of visa,
length of stay, date of expiration, conditions and number of entries will be
indicated on your visa label.
 
 
VISA
A visa may be for a single, double or multiple entries. The visa issued can
be used in the limit of its validity.
 
 
VISA CLASSES: A, B, C, D
A) Airport transit visa
B) Transit visa
C) Short stay visa
D) Long stay visa.
 
A)    Airport transit visa entitles to enter the international zone of
Budapest Ferihegy airport and to stay there until boarding the connection
flight to your main destination. Your application is going to be assessed by
the Immigration Office in Hungary       (Bevándorlási és Állampolgársági
Hivatal).
 
B)   Transit visa is for a transit of 5 days or less. Your application will
be assessed by the Immigration Office (BÁH) in Hungary.
 
C)   Short stay visitor visa is for a stay of 90 days or less and, depending
on the purpose of your visit, includes among others the followig subclasses:
tourism, business, visit friends and relatives, study, medical treatment,
miscellaneous.
 
D)   Long stay visitor visa is for a stay of more than 90 days but not
exceeding a year. It may include the following specified entry purposes:
work, self-employment, family unification, visit friends and relatives,
study, medical treatment. Your application is going to be assessed again by
the Immigration Office in Hungary.
 
 
VISA REQUIREMENTS, GENERAL
- a passport with a validity of one year at least
- a copy of the photo page of your passport
- a passport-type photograph not older than 90 days (one only)
- application form duly completed and signed
- a return ticket (or a print-out of it)
- hotel reservation (original copy with the hotel letterhead specifying the
guest name, period of stay etc, duly stamped and signed by the manager or
the person in charge with reservations)
- travel insurance
- application charge (visa fee)
- official documents justifying your stay in Hungary
- evidence of funds that suit covering your expenses there.
 
Documents accepted as evidence of funds: income certificate issued by an
employer, bank draft, pensioners coupon or a registered venture.
 
VISA REQUIREMENTS, SPECIFIC
TRANSIT
- valid air ticket or
- evidence of other transport means
- valid visa issued by your main destination country.
 
 
TOURISM
- a return ticket,
- hotel room reservation (original copy).
 
BUSINESS
- a letter of invitation endorsed by the Hungarian Immigration Office
- evidence of business or commercial ties in Hungary
- attestation of the Chamber of Commerce about your business activity
- reservation of an accommodation in Hungary.
 
 
VISIT FRIENDS and RELATIVES
- a letter of invitation endorsed by the Hungarian Immigration Office or
- an official letter of invitation sealed by a notary public
- a copy of the ID card or that of the passport of your host in Hungary.
 
In case of family ties a duly signed declaration about the degree of
relationship or kinship (name, address, phone number) is also needed.
 
 
STUDENT VISA (STUDIES)
- Student visa requires an evidence of enrolment at a school, college or
university in Hungary (specifying the address of your accomodation, too)
- evidence of income or revenue in Hungary (bank draft, parental statement,
scholarship)
- attestation by the School about the clearance of all tuition fees (or
exemption from them).
 
 
EMPLOYMENT (WORK)
- Foreign nationals intending to work in Hungary must obtain, prior to
apply, an official labour permit from the Hungarian National Labour Centre
(Országos Munkaügyi Központ)
- labour contract
- deed of lease
- evidence of funds (draft issued by a Hungarian bank, attestation of the
employer).
 
 
SELF-EMPLOYMENT
- attestation about the character of the income earning activity (Terms of
partnership)
- the registry court¹s decision
- deed of lease or evidence of accommodation in Hungary
- statement on the amount of your yearly income
- evidence of funds in Hungary
- simplified book-keeping or balance (from the previous year)
- clearance on public dues
- labour contract (with eventual Hungarian employees)
- a short business activity plan or draft.
 
 
MEDICAL TREATMENT
-Travelers for medical treatment must provide the visa officer with a letter
of acceptance from the relevant Hungarian health centre or institution
(stating that all expenses of the treatment are/going to be duly covered).
- reservation of an accommodation in Hungary
- evidence of funds for the medical treatment.
 
 
FAMILY UNIFICATION
- accommodation documented
- income and revenue documented
- copy of Birth Certificate and/or Marriage Certificate
- copy of the passport (next to the kin in Hungary).
 
 
MISCELLANEOUS
An official invitation from the Hungarian counterpart or organizer is needed
if the applicant intends to attend a conference, seminar, cultural,
scientific or sport event in Hungary.
 
Please note that the Consular Officer is entitled to ask for additional
documents, too. The Consular Office keeps the right to check the
authenticity of all the documents and any counterfait may result in the
refusal of the application.
 
 
APPLICATION CHARGE
There is a non-negotiable and non-redeemable application charge which must
accompany each application. The application cannot be processed until the
charge has been received. The fee will not be refunded if a visa is not
granted.
 
 
IMPORTANT NOTICE
A valid Schengen, American, Canadian, Norwegian or Swiss visa already on
your passport may considerably help you reach a positive outcome as regards
to your application.
 
 
PLEASE NOTE
A visa issued is only a preadmission to enter Hungary. It does not entitle
the holder to cross the border automatically. Passport Control Officer may
check again all conditions for your entry and stay in Hungary. In case of
any lack, PCO is justified in preventing the traveler from entering the
country.
