IOM is looking for some candidates to be based in Tanjung Pinang for the below positions. Classification : Employee, Grade 6 Duty Station : Tanjung Pinang, Indonesia Type of contract : Special All Inclusive Duration of contract : 6 months, with possibility of extension 1. Architect (SVN/ID1/2008/005): University degree in Architecture and/or alternatively, a combination of relevant training and experience in this field. An experience working in a construction project in Indonesia is a requirement. Minimum five (5) years of architectural site supervision experience of semi commercial building projects. 2. Quality Assurance / Quality Control and Planning Engineer (SVN/ID1/2008/004) : University degree in engineering and or technical college, with a combination of relevant project planning and scheduling training and experiences, field related experience working in Indonesia . A minimum of three(3) years field experience. 3. Civil & Structural Site Engineer (SVN/ID1/2008/006) : University degree in civil engineering with a combination of relevant project management training, and field experience working in Indonesia project related environment . A minimum of five (5) years of C&S site project supervision and project coordinator experience. 4. Health, Safety, Security, Environmental ( HSSE) Project Site Engineer (SVN/ID1/2008/007) University degree in Civil Engineering and/or alternatively, a relevant experience in Health, Safety, Security and Environment. A field experience combined with relevant project management knowledge and training in health and safety in an Indonesian construction is an advantage. A minimum of five (5) years construction experience 5. Mechanical & Electrical ( M&E) Project Site Engineer (SVN/ID1/2008/008) University degree in mechanical and or electrical engineering with a combination of relevant training and field experience working in Indonesian project related environment. A minimum of five years M&E site project supervision and project coordinator experience. General desirable qualifications for all positions : Experience in liaising with governmental and local authorities as well as with international institutions. Sound knowledge of project management planning, evaluation and project controls. Ability to prepare clear and concise reports. Good knowledge in local Indonesian SNI codes and standards is mandatory. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools i.e. Microsoft project and or Primavera Software (P3). Good communications and negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Drive for results and effective resource management skills. Demonstrated track record in leading and working effectively with colleagues from varied cultures and professional background in order to achieve desired goals. Ability to manage workload within general schedule of work, instructions and standard practices. Able to work with minimum supervision and maintain composure under pressure. Through knowledge of English and Bahasa Indonesia. Entitlement : - Return economy airfare ticket form home station to duty station and vice versa upon appointment and at the end of contract. - 2.5 days annual leave per month - 2 days sick leave per month - coverage for compensation plan, This is the insurance coverage for occupational accidents and illnesses.
