MEDIA MANAGER
 
This position report to Marketing Director. The objectives are Maximise the 
return on the company¢s media investment by ensuring the development and 
implementation (planning and buying) of strategic (consumer relevant) brand 
media plans that contribute to building brand equity and increasing profitable 
volume. The incumbent have to enhance  the brand¢s positioning and contribute 
to profitable volume growth by creating effective and efficient patterns of 
exposure for our brand messages to reach the brand target consumer in relevant 
environments.


 
ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.    To assist in managing company¢s media investment and the implementation 
process in order to maximize the return 
2.    To support media¢s group role  enhancing  the brand¢s positioning and 
contribute to profitable volume growth by creating effective and efficient 
patterns of exposure for our brands messages to reach the brand target consumer 
in relevant environments
3.    Lead day to day media planning assessment and buying implementation which 
resulted media agency deliverables against the defined brand and marketing 
objectives and goals
4.    Maintain accuracy of media budget during execution 
5.    To help in identifying relevant opportunities for each brands which 
drives further productivity and puts company ahead of other 
advertisers/competitors in the market 
6.    Oversee Agency¢s regular tasks, ie. media postbuy, competitive review, 
monthly media plans, etc 
7.    Ensure the Company is receiving the best media service available
8.    Provide technical and strategic media support to other areas within the 
local marketing system
9.    Initiate and continue to improve learning documentation, ie. best 
practices
10.  Management of media information system
 
The Requirements of this position are shown below:

Graduate from respected / reputable university with min S1 / S2
Proficiency good track records minimum 5 years experience in a similar capacity 
and preferably in a multinational company of a related industry
Preferably from multinational company and familiar in preparation of business 
planning and review as well as media supports on brand¢s media needs
Strong conceptual skills, creative and innovative
knowledge of media principles and brand positioning strategies
Ability to understand and capture media consumption characteristics and trends
Result oriented, detail oriented, work well under pressure, confident, curious 
mind, persuasive, perseverance, innovative, willingness to coach others
Good network of relevant partnership
Strong leadership, negotiations and interpersonal skills 
Great proficiency in spoken and written English
Strong team player / self-motivated, able to work and deliver in high pressure 
environment
