Greetings Indologists, I'm currently reading an Odia text with a cosmogonical narrative involving Ketukā/Ketakā as the supreme goddess who later descends in the form of Pārvatī. AFAIK, Ketukā appears in some of the Mangalkāvya, as noted by Mallik (1950), Bhattacharya (1995), and Gupta (2012). However, beyond these very brief mentions, I am struggling to find relevant secondary sources. I would love to know more about this enigmatic goddess, her cult, and literature.
I very much appreciate any resources you might share. *Sincerely,* *Westin Harris* Ph.D. Candidate Study of Religion University of California, Davis https://religionsgrad.ucdavis.edu/people/westin-harris <https://religions.ucdavis.edu/people/westin-harris> 2021 Dissertation Fellow, The Robert H.
