Dear Colleagues, The Purāṇa Section of the World Sanskrit Conference has attracted some great scholarship over the years, and we are planning to make this section of the WSC in Kathmandu, 26–30 June 2025, bigger and better than ever.
No matter what aspect of purāṇic scholarship interests you – religion, textual history, sthāla-purāṇas, bhakti, Bhāgavata traditions – everyone is warmly encouraged to submit an abstract. There are good opportunities for open-access publishing. We hope to replicate the success of the quick-turnaround, peer-reviewed proceedings from the Vancouver Conference link<https://open.library.ubc.ca/soa/cIRcle/collections/70440/items/1.0379613>. Please submit your abstract here: link<https://www.nepalworldsanskrit.org/Home/Perabstractsubmision>. (The cut-off is 31 August, not 16 Aug as per the front page).
