The Taittirīya (2.7) also has raso vai saḥ, rasam evāyaṁ labdhvānandī bhavati.

I don’t believe such phrasing is in the Brihad either, but there are resonances
(along with Madhav’s suggestion) in the Brahmavallī of TU (for example, 2.8-9
and a parallel in BAU 4.3.33, on degrees of bliss that culminate with brahman
and then discuss death, i.e., a return).

I think this passage sounds more like Taittiryiya or Brihad Aranyaka. If you
use Jacob you could perhaps find the passage by looking for ananda.

I do not think there is any such expression in the Muṇḍaka.

Friends:

Could you please give me the exact quote in Sanskrit from the Mundaka which
goes something like this:

Brahman is joy, through joy it expresses and into joy it returns.

Kind regards,

Harsha
