Does anyone know why in (some parts of) some kośa texts, the key words are
arranged alphabetically in order of their *last *(rather than
first) consonant, for example in the Nānārthavarga (III.3) of the
Amarakośa? (Other examples noted in Claus Vogel, *Indian Lexicography*,
pp.326, 330, 577.)
