This will provide the basis for various related Ministries/Institution as well as the Local Governments to implement activities that will reduce the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is supporting the Ministry of Planning/National Development Planning Agency (Ministry of PPN/BAPPENAS) to establish a secretariat for RAN GRK activities. * * *“*Project of Capacity Development for Climate Change Strategies in Indonesia”, a 5 years technical cooperation project by BAPPENAS and JICA, announces for the titled vacancy (full time post) based in Jakarta, and it is expecting multiple visits to the regions accross the country. *Responsibilities:* The Executive Secreatry will be responsible in following tasks: a. planning and monitoring the implementation of RAN GRK at the national and local level; b. arranging the meetings and coordination necessary with the ministries / agencies, local governments, international partners, as well as other stakeholders in the implementation of RAN GRK; c. providing guidance, coordination and administration supervision of the RAN GRK activities implementation at the national and local level; d. ensuring smooth implementation of the planning and reporting activities related to RAN GRK achievement at the national and local levels; e. to lead and coordinate the implementation of the RAN GRK Secretariat duties; f. responsible for the smooth implementation of RAN GRK Secretariat duties ; g. documenting the results of activities implementation *Qualifications:* Preferably MSc or MA graduate with specialization of forestry, natural resource management or climate change. PhD degree will be an advantage. Preferably 10 years working experience in climate change related field, Experience in managing project, Good proficiency in English. Independent, proactive and self-motivated, Computer competency and skills in common applications and programs. Commitment to team work and collaborative work practices.
