of 2)

UNITED FRONT FOR EAST TIMOR AUTONOMY - U N I F

PRESS RELEASE

- The International Conspiracy To Block And Defeat The Integration
Stream -

Most of the pro-integration supporters have come to the
conclusion that UNAMET is really encouraging and backing the
people of East Timor to break East Timor away from Indonesia.
This can be seen in the way how some UNAMET personnel act and
perform their duties and how some of them interfere and involve
too far in the process of the ballot. Specifically those from
Australia and Portugal.

The sources of the United Front for East Timor Autonomy (UNIF)
has recorded thousands of irregularities and misbehaviours of
UNAMET personnel where in many areas aroud East Timor, UNAMET
personnel, assist the pro-independence activists to campaign the
rejection of the Autonomy Package by facilitating the
distribution of CNRT leaflets, stickers and other materials.

The above mentioned list of irregularities and misbehaviours are
not he only ones that have been pointed out by UNIF for
thousands of times, now, during the ballot day, UNIF is
witnessing another thousands of similar acts occurring at the
Polling Stations around East Timor involving UNAMET personnels.

What outcome will one expect from all this garbage. Only God
knows, but one thing for sure, in computing terms, it
says:"garbage in garbage out".

If what UNAMET has done so far is just garbage to favor the
victory of the pro-independence struggle in order to justify the
international opinion that most of the Timorese people want to
separate themselves from Indonesia, then the outcome will be
just garbage. If the interpretation of a fair and just ballot
shall mean that the pro-independence should win, the the outcome
will really just be garbage, because the process that UNAMET is
doing now is no more than a camouflage to cover the shame of the
international community that has been deceived by the pro-
independence supporters that the war in East Timor is between
the East Timorese and Indonesians and not between the East
Timorese and the East Timorese. If this is really the opinion
than all the efforts that UNAMET is doing in attempting to
reject the UNIF party agents, to reject the national observers
and count the votes in Dili is not more than an international
conspiracy to block and defeat the integration stream, because
it is only through this way that UNAMET can use its power to
impose the result of the outcome to the two factions involved as
if UNAMET is the most and highest institution in the world that
is allowed to break any rules whenever the big countries -
colonizers and killers of mankind for centuries do desire.

Now, we realize that it is not necessary any more to cry for the
spilled milk. Only one hope that a single pro-integration
individual still has, that UNAMET did not come to East Timor
with the hidden mission to support the pro-independence
ideology. If this is the case then UNAMET is going to be the new
agent spreading the seeds of new conflicts after Portugal in
1975.
