Surely, no doubt on it, we'll wait & see. Don't forget about PFC, ORCA & special discount... :) > Today, PowerBuilder developers are at the very bottom of the list of > in-demand application development and platform skills, with pay about equal > to Cobol programmers, according to Foote. I think, it just like what i told you in few days ago, graduated student from college can bring their technology into company. No campus / college in Indonesia uses PB, not like VB, Delphi, etc. In other case for company that already use PB, they are very hard to find PB human resources (programmer), finally they have to find another technology that have enough resources. And for the PB books writer in Indonesia only 2 (Mr. Syachrial Chan & Mr. Ferry Djuandi). Comparation about the quantity of they books and other (VB / Delphi) could be 1:100 or maybe more. Few months ago, when Mr. Chan write PB with MSSQL Server 2005, he got appreciation Microsoft Certificates and blablabla that have total values about millons rupiah. What sybase's appreciation that have been given to them? I believe, many indopb's programmer have ability to write PB books, but what for? With months used time, books writer only got royalty only about US$ 0.5 / copy that sold. With only 1 month project, they got thousands dollar. Which is mean, there are no motivation for them to write the books, except wasting time. That's all just my opinion.
