Iya sih.. dah pernah nyobain.. sama yg Oracle XE jg..
bener2 sekeren versi yg berbayar tapi sayang cuman limit 4 GB :D

coba ntar tak cari lagi artikel yg bahas tu kalo nemu..

Postgre saya dah buka2.. tp rada bingung dimana miripnya yak? Fungsi decode aja gak ada.. malah firebird yg nurut saya ada mirip2 ama oracle
Ada gak sih yg bener2 alternatif bwt oracle.. misal syntax bwt maen Join joinan.. yg cuman pake tanda "(+)"
di oracle kan kalo join kayak gini aja " select * from tabel1 A, tabel2 B where A.kode = B.kode(+)"
Mungkin ada yg tau.. sementara free DB yg baru saya coba baru mysql, postgres ama firebird..

My Sql setau saya gak support bwt transaksi.. commit, rollback..  (ato saya salah?)
trus ada bug jg katanya di MySql yg bikin gak support bwt model desktop programming, Mysql punya kelemahan dalam syntax SQL Join, yg kalo pake join banyak tabel bakal error/ngehang.

Mas Afri pernah terapin mysql dalam aplikasi real blom?

Ni saya mo sekedar survey aja..
DBMS yg "The Best"  nurut kalian apa ya? (Kalo nurut saya sih Oracle.. kalo bwt yg versi berbayar)
tapi kan kadang kalo kita bikin program bwt dijual.. gak semua client sanggup beli DBMS yg pake lisence macam SQL Server or Oracle..
solusinya ya kita pake database opensource to.. macam firebird, postgre, dll..

kira2 yg paling bagus apa ya?? yg paling cocok ama PB jg tentunya..

Mohon dishare khususnya bagi PBers yg udah berpengalaman pake PB+Opensource DB.. kira2 ada masalah ga biasanya..
