The GECCO-2001 Program Committee is pleased to announce twelve half-day
Birds-of-a-feather workshops to be held during the 2001 Genetic and
Evolutionary Computation Conference (GECCO-2001).  GECCO-2001 is also hosting
a full-day workshop for the Fourth International Workshop on Learning
Classifier Systems (http://www.isgec.org/GECCO-2001/iwlcs.html).

Workshops provide an opportunity for researchers to meet and discuss topics
with a selected focus in an informal and interactive setting.  Workshops are
an excellent forum for participants with common interests to explore new
approaches, critique existing approaches, and identify emerging areas of
interest in genetic and evolutionary computation (GEC).
