The International Summer School on Distributed Algorithms is supported
by
University of Siena and Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche of Italy.
It is intended primarily for graduate  students and researchers
interested
in entering the research field of Distributed Algorithms.

Each course comprises formal lectures periods and  directed
study-discussion periods. Upon  request, students  may  be graded for
proficency in any of the courses.

SELF-STABILIZATION
ALGEBRAIC TOPOLOGY AND DISTRIBUTED COMPUTING
SYNCHRONOUS DISTRIBUTED COMPUTATIONS



The school will take place at Elba's Island, 10km  from mainland,
famous for its white sand, deep blue sea, and fascinating nature.

The number of participants will be limited to 40.

The school fee is Italian Liras 2,000,000 (Liras 1,600,000 for
full time students). The fee includes 6 days  accomodation with
half board (breakfast and dinner) at Hotel Hermitage, social
activities, and lecture notes. Also included is free access to
tennis facilities.

Subject to funding availability, a limited number of scholarships
might be available for full-time students with special financial
needs.
