Data Mining Server
A MACHINE LEARNING SERVICE ON-LINE

Data mining server is a new free on-line data analysis site at
http://dms.irb.hr . It consists of two major parts: a data
analysis tool and a data mining tutorial. Data are analyzed
by the Inductive Learning by Logic Minimization (ILLM) system,
conceived and developed at the Laboratory for Information
Systems, Department of Electronics, R. Boskovic Institute.
The tool is especially appropriate for subgroup discovery
problems with a user selectable generalisation parameter.
Implemented noise detection option might be interesting also
as a preprocessing cleansing tool for other machine learning
systems.

The most important characteristic of the site is the prospect
of performing some data mining operations on-line. Using
relatively simple browser based interface you can send your
data to server, it will perform data mining on your data,
and return the results back to your browser. You do not
need to install and maintain data mining software on your
machine. Besides, the tutorial part offers various
materials and links about data mining, solving problems,
preparing data files and interpreting the results.

The complexity of the data that can be submitted is
restricted to 250 examples and 50 attributes.
For solving more complex problems and potentially complete
data mining and inductive learning tasks contact the
