CALL FOR PARTICIPATION Third Workshop on Operational Text Classification (OTC-03) August 27, 2003 Washington, DC (co-located with KDD 2003 Conference)
The OTC workshops feature talks and discussion by developers and users of text classification in a range of real-world settings. The 2003 workshop particularly encourages presentations on uses of text classification in text & data mining. However, ALL applications of text classification are of interest, including controlled vocabulary and web directory indexing, construction of specialized information feeds, information security, help desk automation, content filtering (e.g. spam, pornography), and alerting.
