ECML/PKDD-2003 Call for Participation ===================================== http://www.cs.kuleuven.ac.be/conference/ecmlpkdd/ The 14th European Conference on Machine Learning (ECML-2003) and the 7th European Conference on Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases (PKDD-2003) will be held co-located in Cavtat-Dubrovnik, Croatia, 22-26 September 2003. The early registration deadline has been extended to August 5. Travel and lodging arrangements are best made as early as possible, as Dubrovnik is a popular tourist destination. Scientific Program The tutorial/workshop program consists of four tutorials, eight workshops, and two tutorial/workshop combinations, all to be held on Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 September. The ECML/PKDD main program starts with a plenary session on Tuesday 23 September at 17:30, and continues until Friday 26 September. Invited speakers are Pieter Adriaans (University of Amsterdam), Leo Breiman (University of California, Berkeley), Donald Rubin (Harvard University) and Christos Faloutsos (Carnegie Mellon University).
