MISSION:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The concept of Digital Twins, dynamic virtual replicas of physical entities or
processes, is rapidly gaining traction as a transformative technology in the
healthcare sector. Leveraging Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)
and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Digital Twins hold immense potential to
revolutionize diagnostics, treatment, prevention, and overall healthcare
delivery. This special session aims to be a premier international forum for
researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to explore the cutting-edge
ICT methodologies, algorithms, and programming techniques that underpin the
development and application of Digital Twins in healthcare. We invite original
and high-quality contributions addressing theoretical, methodological, and
practical aspects of ICT and AI for healthcare-focused Digital Twins.

The Workshop focuses on current issues because Digital Twins technology is
advancing rapidly, and its adoption in healthcare is growing. Healthcare data
is increasing, and there is a focus on personalized medicine, but there are
still open challenges and a strong emphasis on remote and predictive
healthcare. Furthermore, the Workshop is relevant for ICT and biomedical
researchers, healthcare professionals, companies in the sector, policymakers
and students. It focuses on the ICT foundations of Digital Twins in healthcare,
which is crucial for their development and success. To summarise, the Workshop
is relevant because of the progress and growing interest, and it is helpful for
different professionals working to improve healthcare through Digital Twins
technology.

- Modeling and Simulation Methodologies for Healthcare Digital Twins
- AI Algorithms for Healthcare Digital Twins
- Programming Techniques and Architectures for Healthcare Digital Twins
- Data Management and Analytics for Healthcare Digital Twins
- ICT Infrastructure and Tools for Healthcare Digital Twins
- Ethical, Legal, and Societal Implications of ICT for Healthcare Digital Twins

IMPORTANT DATES:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Submission deadline: July 20, 2025
- Notification of paper acceptance: August 04, 2025
- Submission of camera-ready papers: August 18, 2025
- Registration: August 18, 2025

PAPER SUBMISSION:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Manuscripts should describe original work.
All submissions have to comply with IEEE's guidelines. Initial submissions for
review are limited to seven (7) pages. Camera-ready papers should not exceed
six (6) pages for long papers, and four (4) pages for short papers, including
figures without incurring additional page charges (maximum 1 additional page
with over-length page charge). Papers must be written using the IEEE conference
proceedings style format (two-column and 10-point font) Download manuscript
templates for IEEE conference proceedings from:
https://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html

Accepted papers will be included in the IEEE CSCN 2025 Proceedings and will be
submitted for inclusion to IEEE Xplore. The CSCN Proceedings have been indexed
in the past by ISI, dblp and Scopus. This makes the CSCN conference one of the
publication venues with very high visibility and impact in both Computer and
Communications areas.

**FAST-TRACK JOURNAL PUBLICATION**

A selection of the best accepted papers, suitably revised and extended, will be
eligible for **fast-track publication in Applied Soft Computing (Elsevier, Q1,
IF: 6.6)**.
