*** apologies for cross-postings *** The Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research<http://www.demogr.mpg.de/en> (MPIDR) is seeking to appoint a full-time post-doctoral researcher to join the Research Group on Labor Demography<http://www.demogr.mpg.de/en/research_6120/labor_demography_4733/>. We welcome applications from researchers with a PhD in demography, statistics, sociology, economics, epidemiology, public health, or allied fields. Depending on background and interests, the successful candidate will work on a project aimed at understanding which factors are shaping the length of working life; and/or on projects in survival analysis and causal inference. The candidate will develop their own agenda within these project(s). We are seeking creative, self-driven, and collaborative scholars. Strong quantitative analysis skills are required, as is knowledge of R, Stata, or Python.
