Hi,

Recently it has been more and more a requirement from the users to be able to:
- shutdown a cluster and flush data to persistent storage
- restart the whole cluster and preload the data from the storage (no data loss)

Cache store data consistency after node restarts has also been a recurring 
discussing and I think it is related to the above use case.

After having some random-caffe-chats with Dan and Sanne, a possible solution 
came up:
