Hi, I am currently trying to find my around the way around with InfluxDB. So far I really like what I see. One of the things I am missing though are mathematical operations, like e.g. sin, cos. I had a quick search through the issues on GitHub and this list, but could not find any discussions about this. So, either nobody is missing those or I am blind... :) Before I would go over to GitHub to log a ticket for this, I would like to smell check if this is anything the developers / community would consider.
>From the top of my head the function would be: - sin, cos, tan - asin, acos, atan - correlation - variance / covariance - sqrt - exp - abs - log, ln - div, mod The idea behind this to do as much as possible on the server side - where the data is - and return the calculated/derived data to the model/client.
