There are experimental 1.0.0-beta2 windows builds available here <https://s3.amazonaws.com/dl.influxdata.com/influxdb/releases/influxdb-1.0.0-beta1_windows_amd64.zip>, if you just need to run on Windows.
I've never run into that build error before, though.
