There is no master or slave in InfluxDB. All data nodes are equal, and all meta nodes are equal except for the Raft leader, which can and does change within the cluster, completely transparently to the user.
Any query sent to any node should return all data from within the cluster, even the data on other nodes. If that is not the case, it sounds like your cluster is not healthy. Please check the output of SHOW SERVERS.
