Super, thanks. Each timestamped set of measurements also belongs to a 
specific trip; if I'd enter them as

car,id=1,trip=323 tank_level=0.5,speed=10 <timestamp>

that would create a series for each, right? All those trips would still be 
for that particular car. Should I use a tag or a field for such groupings 
of measurements?
