I don't think there's a way to do that in the current query language. It
would really be something like:
select difference("value") / value from measurement where "tag"='tag_value'
DIFFERENCE calculates the difference between successive field values, but
there's no way to also reference the current field value in the same query.
That's mixing aggregation functions with raw points, which is not allowed.
I encourage you to open a feature request
<https://github.com/influxdata/influxdb/issues/new>, as I don't see an open
issue that appears to fit this use case.
