There is nothing obviously wrong with your query syntax. Querying for more points will take longer. You don't give any details of your machine, but in general queries for a few hundred points should return much faster than that.
Please try using the CLI or curl to directly query the database, or look at the InfluxDB log file for actual query response times. The response slowdown may be coming from whatever library you are using.
