I’m trying to use the SNMP plugin in Telegraf to gather statistics for a handful of 48-port switches to then add into Grafana for monitoring. I’ve got it working to collect single OID’s and one port at a time, but if I try to get a bulk collection, the statistics that get output aren’t unique and don’t write into InfluxDB very well.
How can I use telegraf to collect both Input and Output octets for each switch and all of it’s 48 ports and put that into InfluxDB? The OID’s are simple: # .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.10.[1-48] # .1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.6.[1-48] To add more complexity, what if I want to use this to port to a switch that only has 4 or 5 ports?
