I rebuilt the cluster so I lost the logs. I was using netstat -tulpn | grep influx to look and see what ports influx was listening on. The logs shows the attempt to join the other nodes but they never joined. I used tcpdump looking at the host and port and I could see request being made. They would just never join.
I rebuilt the entire cluster and it seems to be working now, but I have one node that shows localhost under show servers.
