Jack, We do not support user changes to the configuration files on InfluxCloud instances. Typically we recommend using Telegraf to process inputs and write to InfluxCloud, but there is not yet an OpenTSDB input plugin for Telegraf.
If you require the OpenTSDB functionality, I think you will need to self-host for the time being, my apologies.
