I can't pay Influxdata other than by singing its praise, but InfluxDB is fantastic. After struggling for months trying to get our data into MySQL within a full day only to find that it would take tens of minutes to run even simple queries (on an admittedly anemic VPS box), InfluxDB allows us to load the data in just under an hour, and queries come back in seconds. On the very same crappy VPS box.
Installation and getting up and running were no-brainers. Fantastic stuff people. If there's one thing this non-paying customer can still dream of improvements, it's support for query parameters in the clients, and a type 4 jdbc driver.
