There is no USE statement for retention policies. (See https://github.com/influxdata/influxdb/issues/3188 for details.)
However, most InfluxQL statements support fully qualified database.retention_policy.measurement notation: https://docs.influxdata.com/influxdb/v0.13/query_language/data_exploration/#the-select-statement-and-the-where-clause (See the paragraph beginning with "Fully qualify a measurement..."). For example, SELECT * FROM database.RP_A.measurement You can omit the database for brevity since the CLI does support USE <database>.
