Thanks, Sean, it seems that you are right and that wtg is a field or both, also 
with the regular expression I get:

Server returned error: fields not supported in WHERE clause during deletion

Does this mean I cannot delete/drop that series? 
I have other series that I would like to drop, based on a field, is there any 
way to do that without dropping the whole measurement?
