Nodes don't fill up one art a time, writes are evenly distributed to all nodes in the cluster. Adding a new node is the same as adding the original nodes, `influxd-ctl join`. The Enterprise Web UI has a "rebalance" button to distribute data evenly with new nodes. You can also do it manually using `influxd-ctl copy-shard`.
