Hello,

I am novice at influxdb. I want to setup replication between two influxdb
server nodes.

My application will be writing/reading data from let's say NODE-1 of
influxdb. Where I want NODE-1 to keep replicating any writes (ddl, dml
operations) to NODE-2 of influxdb. A kind of Active-Passive setup is
desired.

Currently we are using v0.13 but if v1.1 (latest) supports replication
configuration then we can roll over it. I could see there are sharding &
replication related settings/context over online documentation @
https://docs.influxdata.com but I could not find any proper documentation
or steps to setup replication.

To setup cluster, I could see a clear note stating, InfluxEnterprise to be
used. And for High Availability there are setups like InfluxRelay.

Using InfluxRelay, I can keep NODE-1 and NODE-2 in sync, but they won't be
exact Active-Passive nodes which replication method can enable. IMO,
cluster setup and HA solutions are not exactly helping me.

Please can anyone guide me explaining replication setup procedure in
InfluxDB v1.1. If available for v0.13 then that is fine as well.

Thanks.
Mandar
