That query should be inexpensive. You can also try `SELECT LAST(fieldKey) FROM measurement` which should perform comparably but may be a little quicker. If you can provide a time range, i.e. if you know the most recent point is in the past day or the past week, you should see results even more quickly. Same goes for providing any tags, e.g. `WHERE myKey = 'myValue'` to narrow down the search.
