Hi,
I am running kapacitor and influxdb on a AWS instance with 4 vCPUs
and 16GB Memory. I have a client which needs to subscribe to certain field
change notifications. However, since current pub/sub doesn't support WHERE
clause (you can only subscribe to a database changes), the way i getting
around this issue is using kapacitor.
I subscribe in kapacitor and do the WHERE filtering in the tasks within
kapacitor and dump the results in a new DB and let my client subscribe to
this new DB.
Ideally, if the subscribe itself supported WHERE clause, i could have
avoided this whole loop? Any plans to support this or its already there?
