This must have reached FAQ status by now: is there a way to get the
SGI-supplied xdm in IRIX 5.3 to authenticate (AFS 3.4beta) client?
It's not quite clear to me what's not happening - I'm not getting "login
incorrect" on the display or "failed:" messages in /var/adm/SYSLOG, but am
seeing (in /var/adm/SYSLOG):
        Oct 16 13:58:49 6B:visitor Xsession: grendel: login
Oct 16 13:58:49 3B:visitor Xsession: grendel: Session has no command/arguments
        Oct 16 13:58:49 6B:visitor Xsession: grendel: logout

This does _not_ seem to correlate with simply not being able to read files
in AFS - a hacked up /usr/lib/X11/Xsession file (which works for local
users) is present.

Any ideas? Workarounds?

Thanks.
