I'm interested in hearing from others at sites with autonomous users (or
worse, faculty :->) - how do you deal with NFS vs AFS religious wars? It
seems that I come across this issue here every couple of years or so; some
folks object to the very notion of AFS (there's no hope for them), while
others find they want to share data among beefy diskfull workstations in their labs,
and then access that data from the public (AFS only) machines.

Do most sites run both AFS and NFS? If so, how much effort goes into
keeping things in sync? If not, how do you justify this decision?

Thanks.
