This is probably a coincedence, but I just wanted to verify that no one
else has seen this anomaly. The machine is a fileserver only, and running
upclient. It seems that there has been some random file corruption through-
out the /usr filesystem. Most corruption is only a few bytes through a
given file, and there's only a few files scattered through the filesystem
that are affected. Certainly there isn't enough evidence to definitely
point to upclient, but I wanted to see if any other sites have ever seen this
before I investigate other possibilities.
BTW, does anyone know if upclient still does not know how to handle
subdirectories properly?
General info:
On an HP T500 (800 series machine), running HP-UX 9.04, and AFS 3.3a binaries.
Problem occurred at first reboot after AFS server functionality installed.
Thanks for any info.
